Malta


Malta is an interesting travel destination located in the Mediterranean Sea, southern of Italy, right bellow Sicily. The Republic of Malta is very popular place to go for travellers that are coming from Great Britain, mostly because the official language in there is English alongside with Maltese language. Other reason why many travellers spend their holiday in Malta is because this is the safest place in Europe. A recent research in April 2012 showed that the capital city of Malta, La Valleta is the safest place in Europe, with lowest crime rate in the continent. That is one reason more why travellers come here for a vacation. 


Other thing why this place is special for tourists is the mild weather which is not so hot during the summer and pleasant when it is out of the summer season. The average temperatures during the year are 20 °C and Malta has the most sunshine hours during the ear in Europe, over 3000. That is twice more than the western Europe cities. During the summer the temperature is not more than 35 degrees which makes it pleasant and perfect for people who enjoy being on the beach.


Malta is formed by three major islands – Malta, Comino and Gozo, and 15 smaller islands. Only the three larger islands are inhabited. They are as well the main travel destinations in the country. The landscape of Malta is mainly formed by fields and low peaks and most attractive are the amazing bays formed by the nature all around the coastlines of the islands. One of the most popular is St. Paul Bay, which is most likely the most popular resort in the country. 


The cities in Malta are something you will be amazed of. The cultural and historical treasure is everywhere. Most popular city is the capital Valleta. There is a part of the history in every corner in the city. Beautiful ancient cathedrals, stunning palaces, magical churches and many other attractions are found in this sixteenth century walled city. A walk around the safest city in Europe is something that will make you feel both astonished and relaxed. Don't miss to visit the Upper and Lower Barrakka Gardens, built in the 16th century for the private use of knights of Italy. The view of the awesome Grand Harbour is available there. It is something you should not miss when you are there on a vacation. 


If you are seeking for a nice sandy beach, you should go to Golden Bay and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Mellieha is an other place to go if you like to work on your tan and swim in the sea. There are plenty of tourists and places that are offering any kind of entertainment so you will definitely not be bored. While you are there you can enjoy different types of water sports, take some tour around the islands or take a breath in some of the bars around the beaches. 


The most attractive place for travellers in Malta is the Blue Lagoon Bay. There is no way to go in Malta and not see the beauty of this bay. This is the most popular place for travellers that are looking for a place for snorkeling, swimming and diving. It is located between the islands of Comino and Cominotto. The white sandy beach and the crystal clear water are the reason why almost every traveller comes to the Blue Lagoon. There are many boat tours that are going trough this place and they are the most popular in the country.

Mauritius


Mauritius is popularly known as a high tech tourism destination that makes tourists feel alive and keep coming back for the taste of touring the island and stay close to its amazing beauty. Millions of tourists around the world travel to Mauritius regularly because it is an island with broadly competitive attractions in it. Mauritius is an independent republican island floating in the southern area of the Indian Ocean and bordering the African Continent to the south west direction. Mauritius Island was discovered by sailors from Malay and Arab regions of Asua in the tenth century. The Dutch later arrived at the island and colonized it in the seventeenth century AD, but left it in the early eighteenth century giving way to the French colonization in1715. A century later the British managed to obtain and colonize the island from the French through the Parid Treaty. Mauritius finally gained its independence in 1992 and has since been a republic that speaks both English and French language.




Mauritius has several attractions ranging from the historic sites to the natural beauty sitting in the island. There is a wide range of animal species to see in this island like the different shark species, the blue marlin and the bonitos. Lively waterfalls are abundant alongside the forests and the mountain ranges of Piton de la Riviere Noire, Pieter Botrh and Le Pouce. The island glitters with ten crystalline lakes with the largest being Lake Mare aux Vacoas. 




The Trou aux Cerfs Crater is a must to see and visit and get a wide vie of the all the mountains standing in Mauritius Island. Some of the historic sites to be seen are the seventeenth century Balaclava Ruins, the nineteenth century Triolet Shivala Village that has a nineteenth century Maheswarnath Hindu Temple that reveals much of the culture and history of the people, and the ruins of the Dutch buildings that date back to the seventeenth century. 




Activities that take place in Mauritius are guided tours around the island and leisure events at the coast. During the summer many tourists love to bask in the sun, dice into the sea, surf along the sea, play water skiing and other sport activities including sailing in the Indian Ocean. There are marina sites that tourists can explore the splendid marine environment of the ocean

Numerous restaurants around the city forms a land eatery in maim though there are ale seafood restaurants, window cafes and supermarkets where one can buy food.
