Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Rio de Janeiro is one of the best places to enjoy memorable holidays in Brazil. Rio de Janeiro has been internationally known as a sports center in the world of sports. It has been set aside to host for the coming 2014 World Cup games and the Olympics and Paraolympics games of 2016. Rio de Janeiro is also a large scale contributor to the tourism sector of Brazil. Lucky for its natural beauty of its white sands beaches, landscape and memorial monumental structures that are significant to most of the world, Rio de Janeiro’s star never stops glittering in the international and its local tourism sector. 






Accessing Rio de Janeiro is guaranteed by its Central Station also called in its Brazilian language, Central do Brasil. The station’s train is commonly used to take passengers from many different railway stations to Rio de Janeiro. Other alternative means are by private vehicle or bus through main vehicle road routes that connect to Rio de Janeiro.

Other historic points are: the seventeenth century Saint Benedict Monastery, the nineteenth century Ilha Fiscal Palace in Guanabara Bay and Palacio do Catete that was the royal residence for former presidents between the nineteenth and the twentieth century but is now a museum with admirable gardens that reveals much of the leadership history of Brazil.


Rio de Janeiro has many museums with different sectors of the history of Brazil. Visiting all these museums can be a better understanding into Brazil’s history. The National Museum of History gives the general historical facts including a few of the pre-historical artifacts. The Museum of Fine Arts also known as Museu Nacional de Belas Artes showcases lovely sculptural and paint work by legendary artists from the past. 



The Image and Sound Museum (Museum da Imagem e do Som) guides visitors through Brazil’s journey into bringing up its current, successful, vibrant communication and film industry.



Find adorable wildlife in the Zoo with many different species of animals nurtured within the zoo. There is a restaurant nearby to enjoy varieties of sumptuous delicacies. 

The white sandy beaches are always visited by its local and some international tourists. The fields are wide for sun bathing and many water sport activities such sailing, surfing and diving.
